Firstly we'd like to send a huge congratulations to Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunipingu and everyone at Skinnyfish Music for their recent ARIA wins for best independent album and best world music album. We were honoured to be part of such a wonderful project. We're currently working with skinnyfish on the debut album for East Timorese singer songwriter Ego Lemos.
At the moment we're working on some really exciting projects. David Hosking is in right now putting the finishing touches on his new record. Mick Thomas has also brought some of our favourites through in the past month to collaborate on his new album. Tim Rogers, Paul Kelly and Felicity Urquhart are all joining Mick for duets. Tex Perkins popped in to do a few final vocals for his Ladyboyz album And teenage popsters Lemonsmile recorded and mixed their debut ep.
Van Walker's album "The Celestial Railroad", Is out now in all good records shops and receiving rave reviews. We worked with Van mixing and mastering the album.
Institut polaire have moved from Perth to Melbourne (all 8 of them) and start work with Craig Pilkington on their new album in a few weeks which will be a grand piece of pop.
Music for the television program "Very Small Business" was composed and recorded right here at Audrey Studios by Craig Pilkington. You can download the series as a podcast now.
