Audrey Studios combines some of the finest vintage equipment with modern state of the art technology
to bring the best of both worlds to your recording project. We can use vintage condenser or ribbon mics with valve pre amps, through valve eqs, compressors and limiters to analogue tape for
a classic retro tone. We can also use the latest condenser mics through pristine Class-circuitry
pre amps and high end solid state eqs and compressors to the finest A-D converters to achieve high clarity fully editable digital recordings. But most importantly we can combine any of these elements to bring the colour, character and definition of tone that the music requires, for example bands can record the main band tracks and vocals to analogue tape and then transfer to digital for the more fiddly overdubs where we can instantly tweak, cut, copy
and paste as required.
We can then edit and mix with the visual and technological benefits of ProTools while sending
the tracks out individually through the board, combining the benefits of computer automation
and recall with the sounds of classic outboard compressors, eqs & effects.
